ABOUT

Enrico Maria Milanesi (b. 1984) is an Italian acoustic guitarist, composer, and arranger. A virtuoso of fingerpicking and flatpicking techniques, he has shared the stage with masters such as Tommy Emmanuel and earned prestigious international recognition (winner of the Italian "Arrangiatevi" competition in 2015, finalist at Guitar Masters 2016, receiving praise from Martin Taylor and Preston Reed).

A composer of soundtracks for theatrical productions and short films, he has released four solo albums (including LIVE! with a string trio and the recent Off The Beaten Track).

From 2019 to 2026, he served as a guitarist and arranger for the renowned quartet 40 Fingers, completing a seven-year international tour across major worldwide theaters and events.

His solo discography includes four albums: Hanami (2014), In Myself (2018), LIVE! (2018), and Off The Beaten Track (2025).

In particular, LIVE! represents an original meeting point between acoustic guitar and chamber music thanks to the presence of a refined string trio (violin, viola, and cello), alternating original tracks with jazz, rock, and classical reinterpretations.

Concurrently, in 2019 he released Kythara, an album produced in collaboration with Michele Pucci (on flamenco guitar) and Francesco Bertolini (on jazz guitar), and in 2025 he created the album Cartoonized with Andrea Valeri.
